Marketing Chair
The Miami University Student Foundation (MUSF), founded in 1972, is dedicated to developing and providing scholarships to Miami Students. Our foundation aids the student leader, fulfills campus needs and strengthens the Miami community through high standards of leadership, devotion to the unity of the community, and a strong passion and love for Miami.
Some MUSF Events and Programs:
Family Weekend Auction
A Family Weekend event to raise money for the MUSF scholarship endowment.
Broomball Tournament
Annual tournament of Miami's original and most popular intramural and club sport, broomball. Hosted in the iconic Goggin ice rink .
Run for Love and Honor
A celebration of Homecoming weekend with a 5K run through Miami’s campus.
Chicago Bus Trips
Provide transportation for students from campus to the Chicago area during major holiday breaks.
#MUThankU
A video campaign produced in collaboration with the alumni association showing appreciation for the support received from alumni donors.
As the Marketing Chair I worked closely with all other executive members to market events, design promotional materials, design and order member apparel, create and distribute recruitment materials, run our various social media accounts, and attend all of our events.
Being an executive member of the student foundation was a great experience to work with a team, lead a large group of students, plan events, and get to work with multiple media channels.
